Flying Characteristics

Back to the Product Main Page

Most of modern pattern sequences require more and more complex rolling circle or loop combinations with a lot of rolling direction changes. It's easy to understand that you need a big fuselage side area to perform those maneuvers well, and also the shape of the fuselage is important: In knife-edge position, the airplane has to fly as good as in upright or inverted position to keep the incidence-changes as low as possible. Of course, we had that in our minds while designing the Integral and you can be sure to purchase a F3A-plane of the newest generation, ready for all the new sequences.
Although it's possible to produce trailing edges sharp as a knife without decreasing the stiffness using our full-composite technologies, we decided to keep the Integral's edges quite thick. You can see that on most of modern Pattern designs to improve the snap performance. It especially helps stopping the snaps. Of course, we also chose an airfoil and a wing geometry which fits perfectly and helps you to perform even the most difficult snap combinations without loosing precision.
The F3A-business is all about presentation. That's why you really need a painting scheme which shows up in the air perfectly. The bottom of the whole airplane should be a big contrast to that what you see in upright position. The picture shows our "CARF-scheme" as an example, but if your choice is different, you can go with the all-white version and realize your dreams.
Last, but not least: The landings. Nothing is more annoying then a perfect flight in a big competition and then having some damage because bad weather conditions. While keeping the airframe as light as possible is one key for a successful competition design, you also have to keep in your mind that sometimes you HAVE to fly during weather conditions at the big event, you normally wouldn't even think about going to the field. Don't be afraid: The Integral is your strong and reliable partner for a hard training and a tough competition.
