Flying Characteristics

Back to the Product Main Page

Let's take a closer look at the MX2's proportions. You'll soon recognize the short tail of the fuselage, giving the MX2 amazing 3D skills. The MX2 is a master of the fastest knife-edge spins you've ever seen!
Like the full-scale airplane, the elevators have only small counterbalances. If you put a small piece of lead in it (about 20g), it will increase the live of your servo gears remarkably. But also the counterbalances are small enough to avoid loosing precision, as it can happen when they are to big.
While still providing enough fuselage side-area for the craziest knife-edge maneuvers, the MX2's shape is quite aerodynamic. The compact size and the low weight make it possible to use even a 100cc engine to fly basic aerobatics. The MX2 is also the right choice, if you're looking for a new home of your old 120-140cc engine. On a 150 and cans, the plane is already a rocket. A modern 170? Why not, our airframes are strong. But you definitly don't need it!
Look at these large, aggressive ailerons ! The MX2 is doing amazingly fast rolls. You don't even need ridicously big throws for that, thanks to the well-proven airfoil and the clean surface of a full-composite airframe.
