| The Retracts and Hydraulics: All included in the kit!!! The MiG-29 retracts are all aircraft grade aluminium and stainless steel. The principle travel is exactly like the real one. The mains rotate 90 deg and swing in an arc into fuselage/engine nacelles. The nose gear folds when retracting to shorten the strut for about a wheel diameter. The gear locks with self locking hydraulic rams, as the full scale does. Scale wheels, scale hub covers and disc brakes are included as well. The gear cycles with powerful hydraulic rams. Also the gear doors, which are sequenced by a gear door sequencer. The whole hydraulic system is pressurized and the pump only keeps the pressure in the system. The sequences are initiated by servo driven micro valves. |

The same pump drive the hydraulic rams for the intake covers, which are controlled either by a speed control unit, by a micro switch mounted at one main oleo strut or by a separate channel. The covers are linked with the upper intake louvres. When the bottom main door shuts, the top louvres open. The huge 2-part speed brake door is driven by 4 hydraulic rams as well. |

| Drogue Chute: The speed brake function is coupled with the drogue chute (of course included in the kit) which can be thrown out and completely released. |

Turbine Installation: Both turbines are mounted inside a duct system which consists of a carbon fibre shroud with an aluminium end part and a stainless steel pipe. The carbon shroud has a large hatch which allows easy maintenance for your engines. An engine can be removed in less than 5 minutes! The complete installation package except the thust tubes is included in the kit. |
