ProWing 2011

There has been a huge demand for an event like this since quite a while now. The traditional trade-shows were overwhelmed with coax-helis, foamies and toys so that CARF and many other suppliers of giant scale, professional airframes decided not to attend this toy-fairs anymore.

The first ProWing - the trade-show for professional rc model airplanes - was held in August 2011 on the airfield of Soest / Bad Sassendorf between Dortmund and Paderborn, which offers lots of opportunities for a successful event. CARF had a huge presentation area right in front of the flightline.

In a 30-minute showblock, the CARF pilots presented all the stunning highlights of the last time: Our Brand new 2.3m fleet, represented through the Extra 330SC and Edge 540, the beautiful SIAI Marchetti, the 3m Extra 330SC and the SU-31, to name just a few. Also the famous jets of Skygate Collection were presented and will be available at CARF in autumn.
