2nd CARF Meeting 2009 in Kehl/Germany Our first CARF Meeting in 2007 was already a great event, so it was a matter of fact that there has to be a second one.The "Aeroclub Kehl" in Southern Germany, close to Strasbourg in France, offered us the best infrastructure you can have for such an event. We invited our good friends and world-famous pilots Frazer Briggs from New Zealand, Chris Brislin from Australia and Barry Finck from the United States, to have an international taste. But they were people from all regions of Europe, too. Pilots from France, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, United Kingdom and more were coming to present their CARF Model to a huge crowd of spectators. The special thing about the CARF Meeting is, that every potential customer can apply for a body box flight with his dream model! Our company pilots were very very busy and so, almost 80 flights in 2.5 days made our guests happy. Winfried Ohlgart and his JetPower team did an excellent job together with Marc Fröhn, organizing the body-box flights. Ralf Niebergall was on display with a full-scale SIAI Marchetti. World-Champion Thomas Singer presented the new Eurosport 3D to cheering spectators. And as always in Germany, there has to be a HUGE party at the evening. The local Rock-Band "Tinitus", Aeroclub Kehl had hired, made everybody dance and all the club members did an excellent job with catering. A night-flying display with fireworks of Sascha Fliegener filled the break. We're happy that you enjoyed our CARF Meeting, and there will be another one soon! |
